The Story
Part of our Apple Fest Series which features a single apple varietal. The Spitz apple is a fairly large apple with red skin and crisp flesh. A wonderful cider and culinary apple.
Rare, late-season Spitzenburg apples give Spitz '25 its bright aromatics of red apple skin, citrus, and spice, with a delicate finish. Partial aging in French oak for two months adds soft tannins and a hint of vanilla.
We recommend pairing with Jasper Hill Lapinette-washed Willoughby: rich and funky, and Olympia Provisions saucisson: rustic and full of character.
STYLE: Barrel-Aged Cider, Dry
SIZE:Â 750mL
