The Story
In Normandy, France, cider has been made on the farm for over a thousand years. Apples were gathered from the orchard and hauled to the barn in a cart pulled by a big grey horse, the Percheron. Our Percheron honors this iconic horse of Normandy: earthy and expressive with the unmistakable scent of the farm, a strong body, and a gentle finish.
Crafted from a blend of early season apples, this Norman-style cider is aged in Foeder and French oak, offering a subtle funk and light Brett character. Just before bottling, we lightly sweeten it with freshly pressed apple juice, adding a final note of fresh apple.
STYLE: Barrel-Aged Cider, Off-Dry
SIZE: 750mL
